2010년 12월 5일부터 9일까지 미국 샌디에이고에서 열린 IBC's 21st Annual International Conference Antibody Engineering 학회에서 최동기 학생과 이창한 학생이 Student Poster Scholarship Award를 수상하였습니다. 

  최동기 학생은 "Interfering transbody-mediated Her2 silencing induces apoptosis by G0/G1 cell cycle arrest in Her2-overexpressing breast cancer cells"라는 주제로, 이창한 학생은 "Bivalency and bispecificity on a single domain : Kringle domain scaffold"라는 주제로 발표를 하였습니다.

  항체 치료제를 대체할 수 있는 비항체 단백질 골격 크링글 도메인 변이체를 기반으로 한 연구가 2010년 5월 PNAS에 'Engineering of a human kringle domain into agonistic and antagonistic binding proteins functioning in vitro and in vivo' 라는 제목으로 게재되었습니다. 

  이 논문과 관련하여 BRIC의 한빛사 코너에 1저자인 이창한 학생이 소개되었습니다.

 2009년 12월 미국 샌디에이고에서 열린 IBC's 20th Annual International Conference Antibody Engineering 학회에서 이승현 학생과 박경진 학생이 Student Poster Scholarship Award를 수상하였습니다. 이승현 학생은 "Humanization of an agonistic anti-death receptor 4 single chain variable fragment antibody and avidity-mediated enhancement of its cell death-inducing activity"라는 주제로, 박경진 학생은 "A novel Anti-human DR4/5 Kringle domain, KD548-Fc, with tumoricidal activity induces caspase-independent cell death"라는 주제로 발표하였습니다.

  연구교수님으로 김애영 박사님이 오셨습니다. 앞으로 서관에서 하는 동물세포 관련 실험에 많은 도움을 주실 것입니다.

  이창한 학생은 "Development of a novel protein scaffold based on kringle domain fold"라는 주제로, 김동식 학생은 "Humanization of a nucleic acid-hydrolyzing catalytic antibody by loop grafting to a stable framework" 이라는 주제로 발표하였습니다.

  Dry lab과 wet lab이 생겼습니다. 기존의 팔달관 429호 실험실은 wet lab으로, 새로 자리잡은 팔달관 416는 dry lab으로 탄생하였습니다.

2007년 6월 28일-29일 서울 COEX에서 열린 2007 International Symposium & Annual Meeting of KMB "Challenging to Emerging Infectious Diseases"에서 김민수 학생이 "Binding site analyses of Human Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha antagonists elucidate their neutralizing mechanisms"이라는 주제로 발표하여 Outstanding Oral Presentation Award를 수상하였습니다. 

김용성 교수님께서 지도하시는 단백질공학실험실 (Biomolecular Engineering Lab ; BEL)이 팔달관 429호에 자리잡게 되었습니다.
